Travelling abroad for surgery requires careful medical and travel planning. Long flights, reduced mobility, dehydration and recent surgery may increase swelling, discomfort and the risk of circulation-related complications.

Each patient is assessed individually before treatment, and the recovery schedule is planned according to the procedure, medical history and travel requirements. Patients remain in Istanbul for postoperative checks and are advised on when it is medically appropriate to fly.

After returning home, follow-up continues through scheduled photo updates and video consultations.
